Mr. Sotiriou is a Partner of the firm. His professional experience spans the spectrum of intellectual property practice, both domestic and international. Mr. Sotiriou has prepared and prosecuted patent and trademark applications, prepared patentability, non-infringement, invalididity and trademark registrability opinions, and has been involved in litigation of various intellectual property matters.

His practice currently focuses on advising clients regarding their patent portfolios, including evaluating and expanding their existing patent protection to develop and strengthen their market positions. Mr. Sotiriou also performs due diligence, including evaluating and analyzing intellectual property in different types of mergers and acquisitions. This representation included a merger of two high tech companies valued at over $250 million.

Mr. Sotiriou received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Economics in 1994 and his J.D. in 1997, both from Washington University. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
